Astra Pilot Academy brings Part 107 study, real FAA chart practice and an AI tutor into one learning platform.
Visit the live platform ↗As an FAA Part 107 remote pilot, I understand the connection between studying the material and using it in the field. Astra Pilot Academy organizes that preparation into a deliberate path: learn, interpret, practice and review.
The platform extends across student learning, team oversight and administration. Course content, assessment logic and the tutor’s grounding material are separate parts of the system, each with a different responsibility.
The chart trainer uses real public-domain FAA figures. The implementation includes guided callouts, chart questions and a dedicated training surface.
This portfolio preview lets you inspect the source figure. The full training interaction lives in the Academy.
Historical testing figure. Not for navigation.Thirteen modules and 44 lesson units organize the curriculum. Public preview routes let prospective students explore course material before enrolling.
The retrieval implementation selects context from course lessons, FAA documents, practice questions and chart callouts. It uses keyword scoring with term weighting and phrase matching, keeping the retrieval path inspectable.
Grounding is a practical design choice—not a promise that a model can never make a mistake.
